Church Services

We have an hour-long morning service at 10:00 AM every Sunday and on Thanksgiving. Two members of our church read the Bible lesson: a practical resource for daily comfort, healing, and inspiration thats consists of Bible verses brought together with insights from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. Passages are selected to provide a basis for independent study of a weekly theme or lesson, and this same lesson is read at Christian Science Churches around the world. (Read more about the Bible lesson.) In addition to reading aloud the Bible lesson, the congregation sings hymns and prays together. Those that attend these services often feel closer to God and sense of peace.

Sunday school is provided at this same hour for children and young people up to the age of twenty.

We also have an hour-long evening service at 7:30 PM every Wednesday. These testimonial meetings include readings from the Bible and Science and Health, arranged by a local member of our church, as well as prayer and hymn singing. The latter half of this service is when attendees are welcomed to participate by sharing accounts of spiritual insights, testimonies, healings, and thoughts on Christian Science. It’s exciting to hear how fellow community members are using Christian Science in their daily lives to handle problems.

Children are always welcome to attend all of our services, and child care is provided for the very young.
